Nobis Project Digital Media Workshop

Bring Learning to Life: DIgtial Media As A Service-leanring Technique

Join us for a two-day, hands-on workshop that explores using digital media as a learning tool for engaging students in service-learning projects. Learn about Nobis Project’s Action Steps© service-learning model and how to utilize arts and media for exploring social issues that affect our community. This workshop is ideal for middle and high school teachers who teach subjects including English, Social Studies, History, Foreign Language, Science, Art, and more! The workshop will be held at Savannah’s premier video production facility, Meddin Studios. Learn strategies for guiding students through every stage of production, from planning and writing to shooting and editing. As a team, use your curiosity and creativity to develop a digital media project that offers you both the skills and opportunity to make a difference in the world. Each participant will leave with a lesson plan and strategies for assisting students in preparing digital media submissions for the Nobis Project Film Festival and Media Fest.
