Using Digital Media to Make a Difference
MAR 15 2011 - NOBIS PROJECT ANNOUNCES A SUMMER PROGRAM FOR YOUTH. This summer the Nobis Project is seeking aspiring digital media artists to participate in the Nobis Project Digital Media Institute. This unique middle and high school one-week, hands-on summer program, held in collaboration with Meddin Studios (July 11-15 or July 18-22) allows students from grades 5th-12th to gain valuable experience in digital media by providing an atmosphere of fun and collaboration focused on personal, social and artistic growth. As a team, students participate in a group media production that supports the Nobis Project’s commitment to promoting social issues that affect our community.
Nobis Project Film Festival Screening Event at Telfair Museums' Jepson Center
MAR 15 2011 - The Nobis Project Film Festival is excited to announce its partnership with the Telfair Museums for this year's Screening Event. Student entires will be screened at a red carpet event at the Telfair Museums' Jepson Center on Saturday May 7th. There is still time to submit your entry! Deadline for submissions is April 15th. Announcing The First Annual Nobis Project Film Festival
DEC 01 2010 - The Nobis Project Film Festival celebrates the use of digital media as a tool for youth to explore social issues that affect the community, locally and abroad. The festival gathers entries from Savannah students, grades K-12. Genres include animation, documentaries, narratives, music videos, digital slideshows, public service announcements and more. The judges for the Nobis Project Film Festival are comprised of educators, community leaders, and experts in the field of digital media. Visit our booth November 13-15, 2009, Georgia World Congress Center and Omni Hotel at CNN Center, Atlanta, Georgia or join us at our session entitled, “The Nobis Project: Linking Service-Learning and Global Citizenship Education.” Learn about the Nobis Project’s Action Steps: An innovative approach to teaching civic engagement by linking service-learning and global citizenship education.
