The Savannah State University’s Building Museum Capacity project, funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services, approached the Nobis Project to provide training, guidance, and support for the African American Heritage Museums of Southeast Georgia to build a collaborative relationship with one another in order to improve the management of daily operations, educational programs, volunteer coordination, and collection maintenance.
